Through Birchwood Tennis & Fitness Club's Junior Development Program, we offer a wide range of group camps and clinics throughout the year to develop our younger members' tennis game.

Our camps and clinics are designed for players of all ages and skill levels, from beginners to more advanced tournament players. Players are grouped within their class according to skill and experience using various evaluation techniques.

Through our weekly clinics, we work to further enhance your child's tennis development.

In order to place juniors with others around their age and level, clinic participants are grouped as follows:

 EXCELLENCE I: for ages 18 and under
This program is for the more commited junior player seeking a more competitive edge. The program focus combines the tactical perspective with the phycial conditioning component to produce the more complete player.

EXCELLENCE II: for ages 13 and under
Same as the above discription, but geared for the yonger developing players.

MASTERS: for ages 18 and under
Players who are members of their high school tennis team will focus on tournament competition.

DAVIS CUP: for ages 14 and under
Players take a first look at match play, during which they will begin to learn about competitive tennis and tournaments.

TIEBREAKERS: for ages 12 and under
Players will learn to really grasp the game of tennis, piecing together all components of strokes, timing, rules and scoring. Players will be taught the skill necessary to advance to the next level.

CHAMPIONS: for ages 7-9
Beginners and graduates of Future Stars learn and practice basic strokes, and receive a more in-depth understanding of tennis rules and an introduction to scoring. Again, they'll enjoy lots of fun and games.

FUTURE STARS: for ages 4-7
Players learn tennis fundamentals, basic strokes and game rules, enjoy games and great fun.
