Renovation at Birchwood and Important Pickleball Information

We are proud to announce that we will begin Phase 2 of our renovations Friday, April 1st. We will be remodeling the clay-court building to match the other courts. In addition, we will be changing the surface from Har-Tru to hard courts. The building will hold 4 permanent pickleball courts, 1 permanent tennis court with 4 temporary pickleball court lines, and an additional permanent tennis court. Upon completion, Birchwood will be an all-hard court facility with 8 tennis courts and a maximum of 8 pickleball courts. 

We plan to offer updated pickleball memberships and a joint tennis-pickleball membership in Fall 2022 to reflect the changes as well as a more robust pickleball program.

Pickleball Information:

• Tennis Court 4 will act as the temporary host to 4 pickleball courts.

• Pickleball court reservations and lessons must be booked via phone. Please contact the front desk at 570-586-4030.

• Beginning Tuesday, April 5th, Pickleball Tuesday Night Open Play will be held from 7-9 pm. Pricing: Guest: $15

• Youth Pickleball League's final session will be Mondays, April 4th - April 25th, 5:30 - 7:30 pm.
