    A "Round Robin" Tournament.  In a Doubles Round Robin tournament participants play several games, each time possibly with a different partner and against a new pair of opponents. The intent of this format is to encourage competitive play allowing for skill improvement thus making the games more enjoyable for participants.  The games are played to 11 points, winning by 1 point.

    Celebrate the spirit of Wimbledon with a themed tennis event, featuring competitive live-ball play, strawberries, and cream. Players are encouraged to dress in white for a truly authentic Wimbledon experience.

  • August 21st or August 22nd | 7 AM - 8/8:30 PM

    A bus trip to Flushing Meadows to enjoy the US Open Fan Week featuring the US Open Qualifying tournament, which features men and women competing for the final 16 qualifying spots in the draw. Also, it is a chance for you to catch your favorite top ATP and WTA players who are practicing for the upcoming Grand Slam. The bus usually departs from Birchwood around 7 AM with snacks and refreshments provided for the drive and departs from Queens around 5/6 with a stop at a fast food restaurant for dinner. The price of the ticket includes a bus seat and snacks and refreshments, admission is free.
